Experience
I have taught mathematics, chemistry and physics for 15 years in a public high school. I have the ability to explain math and science in multiple ways so that students understand. I am very good at predicting where students get stuck and have developed activities and strategies to help students through the sticky spots. I have taught students that struggle and AP students and have had equal success with both groups. My AP Calculus students have been well-prepared for the exam and able to achieve the top score. I really enjoy working with students in a one-to-one setting and to help them get to the point where they understand and feel confident.
